Kitchen Practical 2

Chefs teach us cook beef steak today!

This is the recipe.
Ingredients : Sirloin steaks, Dijon Mustard, small diced Onion, Heavy Cream, Butter, Salt & Pepper, cooking oil.
( ingredients for side dish : Potatoes and Carrots. )
Season the steaks both side with salt & pepper.
Wipe one side of each sirloin with half teaspoon of mustard then covered it with diced onion.
Then the steaks can be cooked.
and prepare the sauce.
and start to garnish the steak with the side dish.

Our side dish is small cute potato balls, carrot slices & English parsley.

These are our group's end 'products'.
Nice?
=)

Actually our chefs request us to cook one Medium-Rare steak and one Well-Done steak.

but we failed to do so....
both the steaks of our group are medium-rare...
see? the middle of the meat still pink in color..
and the potato balls are not cooked...
so...some marks are deducted..
Finally, we get 25/30marks!
Yeeeeeeeeeeeee~
Happy!!!

We tasted our dishes, not bad!!
Quite DELICIOUS!
other groups gave us good comments too~

Looking forward for the next kitchen practical.

Our second restaurant practical.
We had learnt how to serve customer in the restaurant again.
and... how to polish glasses and cutlery...
and.... how to answer and make reservations via phone calls...

The Child's Eyes

22 October 2010

Went to Wangsa Walk Mall with friends after 3.300pm class.
=)

We watched at 5.30p.m.
The movie ticket at students price, RM 9!
We sat third row from front...
Lolz..... it was scaring~
We screamed and laugh non-stop.
It was fun!!
First time scream in the cinema.
A Good Try.
Haha~   =)

Movie ended at 7.00pm.
We shopped the whole mall after movie.
My friend bought a beautiful dress.
After that, we had our dinner at Little Wok Kitchen.
It was 8.50pm on that time.
First time had my dinner so late..
The environment there was nice!
orange orange.... everywhere..  =)

I had ordered a Yong Chow fried rice.
and my friends had ordered a chicken wings fried rice and a chicken porridge.



After dinner , we went home...
It was 9.30 that time..
wOoW!
and I reach home at 10pm.
scolded by mom.
First time hangout so late...

We had happy moment together.

我们可爱的法文老师带我们游花园。

他就这样拿着个白板、Makerpen & 粉擦带我们走’半’个校园。
我们穿着uniform....走来走去,热死了。



终于下课了,回班去。

老师在火灾现场逃离!

今天的Account Lecture,决定要翘课一天。
真的很讨厌Account!
老师说的,教的,我都一窍不通。
而他就像是在火灾现场,屁股着了火在逃难一样,总是很快地就带过。
也根本没有理会我们这些不曾接触Account的...
教了一点点,就叫我们做功课。
上他的课,我真的会发疯啊!
最糟糕的是,Lecture & Tutorial都是他教!
ARGH!!!!!!!

才上那晚上两小时,还要特地去。
反正去听他的课,我都会无奈的呆坐在旁....
不如就.....就不去了.....
在家看电视更好。
嗨~ 我也是下了很大决定的啊...
毕竟我起步比别人慢了很多.....

天啊!
有谁可以救我呀~
我想drop Account啊!

这天是我们家‘大姐’刚取驾驶执照的第三天。
(9月23日才得到的。)
她要在我们出去GaiGai呐~
呵呵呵....我们是白老鼠?

Kitchen practical 1

We wore the chef uniform today.
woW!
Everyone looks smart and beautiful.
except me lah...

Our kitchen which at behind the restaurant.

The hot kitchen.
This area was quite hot! 
Luckily, we were not in this area for our practical today. 
but in the pastry room...
there got air-cond... ^_^
Our locker.

Today, our first practical were vegetables cutting.
Don't think that it is easy case!!
quite hard de leh....
got so many cutting method.
Chop, Slice, Dice, Batonnet, Brunoise, Julienne, Tourne cutting lah...
all use nice nice name...
lagi Hi-Tech than me.. =.=
really confused lo...
I also don't know which is which liao~

Hehehe..but my 'final products' was right.
I get 28/30 marks on it.
YuHoo~

Hmm..today practical just cutting only...
Light job lah...
We will start cooking in the next kitchen practical.
Hehe.. BraVo!!
